Rigged Hand Model

With the Displacement modifier you can adjust the thickness of the hand,
each finger can be controlled with only one bone per finger and
that is a separate bone to clench a fist.

Without subsurf modifier, one hand has 512 quads, ideal for modern first person shooters, I think.

All textures 2048px.

if you want it to see the 3d model in your browser check p3d.in:

The hand would also used for a short film called "Droop" by Manuel L

have fun with it and feel free to use this hand for your projects :)

Looks fantastic! The only thing that's missing is the little notch of bone on top of the wrist. But I can't complain its way better than what I can do.

512 triangles without subdivision? Or are we talking polys (quads)? Either way, I think you could go a bit higher without it being a problem for most PCs.

I mean polygons (quads), sorry i forgot the metering unit, when this is to low one subdivion heightens the hand up to 2591 quads. How much polygons would you use?

It looks good overall, but I think I'd put a couple more edgeloops around the joints in the fingers. I did a hand model for an FPS project just a little while ago, and it's around 1,400 triangles. I sorta went the opposite route, though. It's more polys, but the texture is smaller than what you're using (1024x1024).

I'm not saying what I did is the definitively correct way to do it, but I don't think it would be an issue for a modern PC and game engine to handle a slightly more complex mesh.
